Why is this person important in your life? This person is important in my life because he is my boyfriend. We have been together for 3 years and i have a lot of great memories with him. I love taking pictures of him because I like to see his personality come through. Since I care about him so much it makes taking pictures if him so much fun.
How does their personality depict your artistic decisions? His personality is centered around being happy and playing sports. I decided to do most of his shots with sports equipment do you could see the sports that he plays. I also had him wear clothing that represented that sport. I had him slightly smile in some pictures to show how sweet and happy he usually is. I had him be serious in some pictures because the sports that he plays requires him to be aggressive and serious. In some other photos I had him wear nice clothes to show the other side of him that is sweet and mature. In those same photos i had him have more of a serious face to show the maturity.
How has this unit affected your photography? This unit has affected my photography by helping me think about more than just the poses and background. It has also shown me how to use light to enhance the colors and feature of my photos. I think this unit overall made me much better at photography. I think these are are some of my best photos.

Bailey looking at your model I can tell that he loves sports and is a happy person and he gets along with everyone. The visual cues that brought me to this conclusion are the props in the photos and what he is wearing. Also the way you involved your light makes it bright, which indicates to me happiness. Overall you understand the light unit really well, also I like how you have your model do different poses along with that the angles at which the shots are taken at. One little detail suggestion is that one of the photos is a tad blurred, so just double check that your model is in clear focus.

Yes, I feel like Bailey captured my personality very well. She brought my whole entire lifestyle into the pictures. She made sure to reflect my personality by the position of my body and what i was using/wearing. What was your favorite picture and why?:
My favorite picture was the artificial light picture from the studio because it really showed my personality. I think it shows that I have a pure side and a dark side which she showed through the use of light. I love the way the light creates a shadow effect on my face.

ReplyDeleteThe personality of your Boyfriend is athletic, and serious. The clues that show this are the Football and rugby ball. These props help show him being athletic and having a serious look on his face. This look on his face shows the amount of concentration and seriousness he has towards sports. His facial expressions in the pictures have a big impact on the way I see his personality. He looks as if he enjoys playing sports and puts hard work into doing well at them. He also looks like a fun person to be around because he is smiling most of the time in the pictures. You were most successful at using the props to show his personality in your pictures.
